Yummiest Chicken, Evah!

This is the yummiest chicken ever! Or so I've heard. The first time I made it Monty and Austin gobbled it up until there was no more left. Austin said he couldn't stop eating it.

I made it again tonight and with his first bite I heard, "Nommers." I knew I had to share.

So, here it is:

Chicken Shawarma From Rachel Ray Just In Time

1 TB cumin
1 TB coriander
1 TB cardamon
1 TB chili powder
1 TB grill seasoning
1 ts smoked paprika
Juice from 1 1/2 lemons
1/4 cup olive oil
4 chicken breasts, or beef cubes, or whatever really. I bet it would taste good with any meat or meat substitute.

I mixed everything but the chicken together then tossed the chicken in the marinade and put it in the fridge for a couple days, turning every once in a while.

On the day I cooked it I grilled it with yellow and red peppers and served with pita and tzatziki sauce. All of that was good, but it was the chicken that got all the praise.
