After Austin's birthday party we (Austin and I) have been obsessing about bearded dragons. They were like scaly puppies! We went to the exotic pet store today to get some info and pricing to see if we really wanted to add another pet to the zoo, er house.

The guy at the store knows us since we go in to get supplies for our tortoise every month. When he heard it was Austin's birthday he was all over it and was going to do what he could to make a birthday wish come true. Everything we needed was still going to be a bit out of our price range so Austin offered up some of his savings (because at ten this is what savings are for!) to help cover the cost.

We came home with a bearded dragon.
