Hawaii: Part Two
2013
We got a very full and restful night sleep after a long day of travel and were craving a big, warm meal. We headed down to the breakfast buffet to fill up.
Austin loves a buffet. All those choices and new foods to try. He chose Eggs Benedict,, Polynesian sausage, bacon, jelly, and Froot Loops. Yum!
After breakfast, we headed upstairs to change and hit the pool! Make that pools. There was a salt water lagoon, lazy river, several hot tubs, and then there was the big pool that made a circle and dumped into smaller pools along the way.
I found this on my camera. Look at those wrinkly toes! :)
Perfect Lego choices for a day at the pool.
The lazy river offered up the most adventure.
We went around the whole thing backwards. Austin was immersed in a part he was playing; a struggling survivor, lost in the ocean, alone who somehow kept getting knocked out and needed to be brought to safety. Luckily, there was always another stranded explorer there to save him.
After being out in all that sun and water, we headed back to the room for more food and some sleep. Austin found a beautiful flower on the ground and picked it up to save it. He placed it in a cup with some water, put it by his bed and named it Steve. Steve stayed there for the rest of the trip.
