Hawaii: Part One
2013
It all worked out though, as things usually do and we got on an early flight to head to Kauai. Everything at the airport worked out nicely;we got to the airport in plenty of time, got some really roomy seats, and settled in for a long five hour flight.
There were times right before our departure date that it seemed like our trip to Hawaii might not happen. So many major bumps in the road, including somebody- whose name I will not mention- forgetting to buy me a plane ticket.
Have I mentioned before I am a nervous traveler? This did not help. I've had a panic attack in Hawaii before and this was feeling like an omen I wasn't meant to go.
Who's got two thumbs and knows how to jump on the crazy train all to easily? This girl right here.
Once there we decided that we should get a car just in case we wanted to drive anywhere. We didn't think it would be that big of a deal to hop on over to the car rental place and grab a car. Lots of other people thought the same thing. No biggie though because Austin and I had tons of time to check out all the wild chickens and proud roosters that made their home at the rent a car terminal.
Our hotel. Walking up to this beautiful sight and we just knew it was going to be an amazingly relaxing vacation.
