We recently joined a CSA that delivers to our doorstep. I don't know why really, other than the novelty of it. We live on top of a grocery store, there is a Whole Foods and farmers market within walking distance of us yet, I still pay for someone to drop off produce at my doorstep for fun.
And boy-oh-boy is it fun! It's like Christmas day! There's a box waiting for me! What's in it? I don't know! Let's open it up and see!
The farm we get our delivery from had an event this weekend. We took advantage of the glorious sunshine and drove out to Capay Farms to check out what they had cooking, er growing.

and straberries. Wait, what? Really?
Can I have a farm with lots of open space, sunshine and a few farm animals? Please!
Peach trees. Can't you just smell them?
On our way home we figured out we would be passing the Jelly Belly Factory again and since Monty didn't get to come last time, we had to make a pit stop. Austin was eager to show Monty the ropes.
In that bag are about 4 pounds of pure sugary bounty. Glorious, delicious, sugary bounty!
